I've thought along the same lines for years, but purely from ananecdotal point of view. This piece backs up the premise of 'home-grown' terrorism withactual numbers. I'd say the only thing missing is a number describing the inverserelationship of mainstream media's 'headlines vs reality' of such threats. I feel wewere lucky to hear about the Cliven Bundy standoff last year, but we never miss achance to hear about a possible 'link to jihadists' in every report regarding a personof color having a run-in with law enforcement.
