It is shown that the subjects from Asia have a higher level ofcognitive component of cultural intelligence, which characterizes them as more aware of thevalues and norms of other cultural groups and strata. Subjects from Russia showed greateffectiveness in recognizing facial expressions of basic emotions on European and Africanfaces, which indicates their greater openness to different cultural experience. The programof cultural intelligence and its components development was proposed and approved takinginto account the improvement of intercultural interaction by correct interpretation of thefacial expressions of other ethnophores. Theoretical principles and empirical results of thestudy can be used in Courses of General psychology, Social psychology, Pedagogicalpsychology, Ethnic psychology and Personality psychology.25.
