The “SP ramp set value” parameter isset to OFF by default, i.e., the SP ramp function is disabled.Changes in the ramp set point can be monitored in the “Set point during SPramp” parameter (operation level). Use this parameter when monitoring SPramp operation. The SP ramp function operates in the same way when switching the set pointusing the multi-SP function.82Section 4-7Using the SP Ramp Function to Limit the SP Change RateParametersSymbolol-hol-lsl-hsl-lsprtsprualspOperation at StartupParameter: LevelMV upper limit: Adjustment levelMV lower limit: Adjustment levelSet point upper limit: Initial setting levelSet point lower limit: Initial setting levelSP ramp set value: Adjustment levelSP ramp time unit: Advanced function setting levelAlarm SP selection: Advanced function setting levelDescriptionTo limit the manipulated variableTo limit the manipulated variableTo limit the SP settingTo limit the SP settingTo limit the SP rate of changeUnit for setting the SPAlarm SP selectionIf the SP ramp function is enabled when the Controller is turned ON or whenswitching from STOP to RUN mode, the process value may reach the setpoint using the SP ramp function in the same way as when the set point ischanged.
In this case, operation is carried out with the process value treatedas the set point before the change was made.
