After the settings are written, they become effective by turning the powerON, restarting the Unit, restarting the communication port, or execution of theSTUP instruction. The following table shows the words allocated in the DM Area and the settings.m = DM30000 + 100 × unit numberAllocated DM wordValueSettings8000Host Link mode, 2 stop bits, even parity, datalength 7 bits0000Baud rate 9,600 bps.0007Baud rate 19,200 bps.m+120000Transmit delay time 0 ms.m+130000No CTS control Unit No.0 for Host LinkPort 1Port 2mm+10m+1m+11m+2m+3Connecting to a CPU UnitCV-series and CVM1/CV-series (-EVj) CPU UnitsCVM1-CPU01-EV2/CVM1-CPU11-EV2/CVM1-CPU21-EV2PC SetupWhen connecting to a CVM1/CV-series CPU Unit, set the following communication conditions for the PC Setup.ItemSetting at HostBaud rateSet the same baud rate as set at the NT21(*1)Stop bits2 stop bitsParityEvenData lengthASCII 7 bitsUnit #00*1 Set the Host Link baud rate at 9,600 bps or 19,200 bps with the memoryswitch at the NT21.
