В политическом плане это может означать бóльшую готовностькоролевства поддерживать действия Вашингтона в глобальном масштабе. В случае выходаВеликобританииизЕСвозможентакжеописанныйБлагденомсценарийпереходаВеликобритании к стратегии заокеанского балансирования: при вероятном снижениистратегического значения Европы для Америки, Великобритания может стать ведущейдержавой в западноевропейском оборонном альянсе, обеспечивающем баланс сил противсильного регионального противника1363.
В этом случае роль Великобритании в качествесвязующего звена в трансатлантических отношениях лишь усилится.9. Является ли Великобритания «ведомым» в отношениях с США? С одной стороны,очевидна асимметрия в военной и экономической мощи в пользу США.
