Existing program on theMemory Cassette will be overwritten.LoadTransfers programs from the MemoryCassette to the CPU Unit.Existing programs on the CPU Unit willbe overwritten.EraseNoteDeletes Memory Cassette programs.1.The transferable program includes theladder programs, parameters, and allsettings data. The present values for thetimers, holding timers, counters, andholding bits cannot be transferred.2.Only error-free programs can be transferred. The program will not be transferred if there is any illegal data in theprogram.3.The Memory Cassette can be written toup to 100,000 times.Mounting Memory Cassettes to LED-type CPU UnitsWhen a Memory Cassette with an error-free program is mounted to anLED-type CPU Unit, the program on the Memory Cassette is automatically transferred to the CPU Unit.
An existing program in the CPU Unit willbe overwritten.86Connecting the ZEN Support Software5-3Section 5-3Connecting the ZEN Support SoftwareThe ZEN Support Software can be used for programming and monitoring.Refer to the ZEN-SOFT01-V2 ZEN Support Software Operation Manual(W386) for information on the functions and operation of the ZEN SupportSoftware.LCD typeLED typeZEN-CIF01Personal ComputerConnecting CableZEN-SOFT01-V2ZEN Support SoftwareWindows computerComputer SpecificationsItemConditionsOperating systemWindows 95, 98, ME, 2000, NT4.0 Service Pack 3CPUPentium 133 MHz or greater(Pentium 200 MHz or greater recommended)Memory64 Mbytes min.HD capacity40 Mbytes free disk space min.CD-ROM driveRequired.Communications1 serial (COM) portKeyboard and mouseRequiredMonitor800 x 600 dots (SVGA) min.; 256 colors min.87Connecting the ZEN Support SoftwareSection 5-3Setting Node AddressesWhen a ZEN Support Software is connected, the node address set on theZEN Support Software must match the node address set on the CPUUnit.
Communications cannot be performed if the node addresses do notmatch. Use the following procedure to set the node addresses.Select Other/Node No.BACKLIGHTINPUT FILTERMODEM ININODE NO▼Press the OK Button to display the currentsettings.NODE NO/00Press the OK Button again to enable thenode address to be set.Use the Up/Down and Right/Left Buttons toset the node address between 0 and 9.Press the OK Button to confirm the setting.Press the OK Button again to complete thesetting.Note The ZEN must be connected 1:1 to the computer, i.e., only oneZEN can be connected to the computer at the same time.88SECTION 6TroubleshootingThis section lists the error messages and provides probable causes and countermeasures fortroubleshooting.6-16-26-3Troubleshooting .
