It ispossible that several measurement projects relate tothe same device.RecipeSequence or collection of measurement tasksMeasurement taskConfigurable measurement task. It is the basiccomponent of a recipe and contains the measuringmode and all parameters required for its definition (e.g.MID, MCD, Scan).Working areaPart of the graphical user interface of QUADERA®. Theworking area is used for the following:Section•To display the recipe editor.
This working area ispresent in the most recipes and cannot be removedby the user.•As a container for the sections and the relatedmeasuring data displays. The user can add severalworking areas to a recipe.Part of the working areaEach working area - except for the working area usedto display the recipe definition - can be divided into socalled sections by the user. Each section can be filledwith a graphical object (e.g.
measuring data display).Chart elementGraphical object which connects the data of ameasurement task with a data display. A chart appearsin the section. The data display in QUADERA® is strongly related to the corresponding measurementtasks. The appropriate tool allows you, for instance, to create or remove ameasurement task directly in the data display of the section.34QUADERAExample for the relation between measurement task and data displayIn order to observe the change of several gases with time, the MID (Multiple IonDetection) type of measurement is especially suitable. In this example, onemeasurement task relates to a mass whose intensity is to be measured, and it definesthe parameters required for the measurement.
The recipe unites all measurementtasks, i.e. the masses to be observed. During a measurement, the measurementtasks are performed one after the other, the readings are collected and stored in therelated measurement project. The repeated execution of a measurement task resultsin a sequence of data which show the course of the related mass signals as a functionof the time. The measuring data which are obtained in a measurement task can bedisplayed graphically in a chart in the section (e.g. as a curve or a bar chart). As aresult, they represent a chart element.35QUADERA HTML HelpOperating ElementsUser InterfaceThe QUADERA® window is divided into several areas.
