The Kingdom is so active in Syria because it is intenton spreading its extreme Wahhabi version of Islam throughout the region, and itsees a perfect opportunity for doing that by supporting the religious radicalterrorists in Syria173.Libya has descended into such terror and anarchy after the 2011 NATO warthat a US military contractor referred to it as a “scumbag Woodstock” 174. Thisincubator of instability has been exporting weapons 175 and terrorists176 to Syriaever since the fall of Gaddafi. These terrorists contributed to the pool of othersactive in Syria who have come from over 80 different countries.
The inclusion ofLibya into this covert network is very significant because it shows that a country’sentire policy can shift almost immediately after a regime change is successfulthere. Prior to the NATO war, Libya would never have gotten itself involved inoverthrowing President Assad (let alone any other Arab leader), but with thechange in government that occurred, the foreign policy also radically shifted. Thisshows that states which undergo a US-guided regime change can quickly becamelaunching pads for other regime change operations in the region.The foreign support that the terrorists receive in Syria allows them tocontinue fighting against the government and acts as a sort of lifeline for theiroperations.
In fact, it is the only reason that the War on Syria has not been resolvedyet. President Assad has stated that the fighting would be over in only two weeks ifexternal support ceased177. Intent on pursuing this objectiveregardless of the obstacles, the US, in league with its regional allies launched anUnconventional War against Syria.Unconventional Warfare is a type of war supported by special forces and/ornon-uniformed units. A leaked US military training manual details how this iscarried out, and it includes guerrilla attacks on infrastructure and state securitypersonnel, among other methods178.
NSNBC reported that it can basically be readas a how-to guide explaining the progression of the War on Syria 179. This is mostcertainly the case, as Unconventional Warfare has come to define the majority ofthe militant engagements occurring inside Syria.The insurgents continually interrupt and sabotage basic services beingprovided to Syrian civilians, such as electricity and water 180.
These types of attacksagainst the population are war crimes and crimes against humanity, yet the US andits allies still continue to support the perpetrators. This makes them complicit in allof the crimes that their protégés carry out, as it was already mentioned that theconflict would be over in two weeks if their support immediately ceased.Through their actions, the international legions of terrorists fighting in Syriahave declared an all-out war against the entire country. Besides terrorism and murder, the insurgents in Syria alsoregularly engage in rape186, sex trafficking187, and the use of child soldiers 188. Theviolence against women is justified by Wahhabi clerics, and the child soldiers aremisled into believing that the terrorist groups will pay for their education after theconflict.The Syrian crisis has a long history which started with the StateDepartment’s plans presented in June 2006 by the then Secretary of StateCondoleezza Rise.
At that time relations between Israel and Lebanon entered anew crisis which later turned into the second Lebanese war. C. Rice came to TelAviv to support allies. During the official meeting with the Israeli leaders she saidthat the events manifested emergence of a “New Middle East”, and everything wasbeing done for this purpose. However realization of American plans forrestructuring the Middle East started much earlier – in Iraq. By that time S.Hussein had been in grave for three years already. After this speech Libyan leaderM. Gaddafi told B. On 21 August, 2013, a chemicalweapon was used against the people living in the outskirts of Damascus in Ghouta,allegedly killing over a thousand people. The Western media was quick to blamethe Syrian government for this, saying that it carried out the attack in order to killthe insurgents who were active in the area. In the flurry of international attentionthat followed, the true story about the event was intentionally covered up by theWest.Prior to Ghouta, the terrorists had already used chemical weapons on 19March of that year. Russia had reached this conclusion after a six-monthinvestigation into the matter190, and the UN also shared “concrete suspicions” thatthis was the case191.
It can thus be confirmed that the terrorst forces were already inpossession of chemical weapons prior to Ghouta and had the will to use them,further advancing the case that it was actually they who staged the attack on 21August.In the aftermath of the attack, Syria and Russia continually asserted that itwas the terrorsts who used chemical weapons, not the government forces. Syriaeven provided Russia with proof of this, which in turn was submitted to the UN 192.A report that the UN released on 13 December found that chemical weapons werelikely to have been used a couple other times against the Syrian Arab Army andcivilians193.
