It reveals the specifics of the legal regulation offoreign investments in China, describes the organizational and legal forms in whichforeign investors can make investments, as well as rules protecting foreign investmentsin the PRC.The research throws light on sources of modern law of the PRC containinggeneral norms concerning investment relations, special norms of investment legislationrelating to the activity of foreign investors in the PRC, as well as on legal means ofprotecting foreign investors in the PRC, fixed both by the legislation on foreigninvestments and bilateral agreements. The issues of protection of foreign investmentsin China through insurance are also examined, problems of the current legislation ofthe PRC on foreign investments are analyzed, the tasks of reforming investmentlegislation are disclosed.
The author examines in detail the novels of the draft law onforeign investment, highlighting its positive aspects and shortcomings.25.
