The key requirements for information technologies as a key factor supporting the day-to-day functioning of the activity and the implementation of the strategy for winning the capital construction market under government orders are as follows:
- ensuring non-transparency of information on financial flows, customers, etc.;
- ensuring the quality and growth of the speed and flexibility of decision making and implementation;
-ensuring the growth of efficiency of the implementation of existing business processes through automation;
- Rapid introduction of new services.
At present, company "SMD" uses one application "1C Enterprise", which provides automation of operational and accounting.
The current state of development of information technologies in the company does not allow providing effective information support of the enterprise's activities. There are gaps between the key requirements for effective business management (business process automation, information opacity, speed in implementing changes) and the current IT infrastructure:
- poor interaction with business processes of the enterprise: lack of clear regulation of IT system support and project management, lack of responsibility For project results;
- lack of strategic planning in IT and clear coordination between individual initiatives and projects;
- lack of the principle of end-to-end information processing, duplication of a number of information flows.
To ensure the basic business needs of the enterprise, modernization of information technologies of CL "SMD" is necessary.
Managerial competencies.
The next steps in the field of organization and management activities will be:
- Forming a governance structure aimed at achieving the established strategic goals:
- Appointment of a responsible person for modernization and innovative development (including preparation of development forecasts, modernization and optimization of the applied technologies);
- Creation of a working group to support and control the implementation of projects;
-development of an implementation plan with a clear list of responsible persons and deadlines;
- development and correction of internal documents of the enterprise.
Thus, having formed the root competencies necessary for the implementation of the strategy of "SMD" LLC to conquer the capital construction market through participation in government contracts, it is necessary to find out how this method of increasing competitiveness will be effective.
In the presented research, theoretical issues were revealed, which reveal the peculiarities of strategic management of an enterprise. Also, the activity of «Supply and Sales Management» was characterized and analyzed, and in order to increase the efficiency of its activities, a development strategy for the repair and construction company was developed.
After analyzing the threats and opportunities, strengths, weaknesses, and competitive positions of "SMD" company it was established that the company has a sufficiently strong competitive position in its market. To strengthen and develop it, it is necessary to develop a strategy for expanding the market, which allows increasing the income of the organization and improving its overall financial position by investing in an additional type of activity. For this purpose, a new development strategy was developed-an increase in the competitiveness of an enterprise in the capital construction market through the receipt of state orders.
The key competencies of the company in this direction are determined and the profitability of implementing such a strategy is calculated. It is concluded that, at this level of efficiency, the implementation of projects in the capital construction market of the company will subsequently receive large volumes of state orders in the field of capital construction, which directly positively affects the growth of the company's competitiveness.
