The analysis shows that the use of the proposed hybridinstrumentation is an effective approach to one-stage surgical treatment of severe form ofscoliotic deformities where cobb’s angle is more than 100˚. Application of the proposedapproach allows to achieve a satisfactory degree of correction of scoliosis with a reducedrisk of intra- and postoperative complications associated with the use of transpedicularscrews in hard-to-reach areas of the scoliotic arch. Usage of combined instrumentationproves more effective in comparison with the usage of LSZ laminar hook instrumentationseparately and comparability of results in case of the transpedicular fixationinstrumentation. The obtained data were comparable with the results of two-stage surgicaltreatment of severe scoliotic deformities presented in literature, while using the proposedapproach in the dissertation contributed to exclusion of the development of intra- andpostoperative complications associated with the use of mobilisation methods..
