Этот метод может найти применение вфундаментальных и прикладных исследованиях мозга.По данным магнитной энцефалографии можно построить детальный атласпарциальных спектров головного мозга. Это атлас может быть использован нетолько при магнитных исследованиях, но и при электроэнцефалографическихисследованиях, в силу общей электрической природы источников активностимозга.Построенная методика позволяет на новом уровне проводить исследованияконнективности мозга. Все спектральные преобразования являются точными иполностью обратимыми, что позволяет реконструировать временные рядыэнцефалограмм, производимых той или иной частью мозга.
Таким образом,возможны оценки взаимозависимостей между частями мозга по корреляциивосстановленных временных рядов.В данной работе для построения парциальных спектров использовалисьпространственные маски анатомических разделов мозга, размерами, как правило,5-10 сантиметров. Следующим уровнем развития парциальной спектроскопиибудет использование пространственных масок небольших размеров (порядкасантиметров и миллиметров). Это позволит ввести понятие «виртуальныйэлектрод», который реконструирует временной ряд источников, расположенных вданной области мозга.
