All children should learn to play a musical instrument.
It is said that it is better for their kids to learn to play a musical instrument. Some people claim that a child has to choose a hobby that they like, while others disagree with this view.
In my view, not every kid should spend time learning how to play a musical instrument. Firstly, there are a lot of different children on the Earth who like learning biology, for example. It is not connected with music, but it is something that they learn and it helps to develop as well. Secondly, playing a musical instrument is not really practical nowadays.
