ABSTRACT

The main tasks of passenger transport is to meet people's needs in transport, while taking into account the possibility of reducing the time for the trip, ensuring the regularity of movement and travel security guarantee. Commuter transport infrastructure is a necessary aspect of the Russian Federation. Feature of the passenger traffic in the Khabarovsk region is the presence of separate routes, the implementation of which is possible only when using river transport. Commuter river transportation are unprofitable, and rates above the minimum fare of the population. These routes are socially significant for the city, as some points on the route can not be reached any other way.

The aim of my thesis - based tariffs for suburban passenger river transport, as well as to determine the amount of subsidies, dating back to the administration of the city of Khabarovsk.

This work is relevant to the modern transport economy as commuter passenger transportation, in general, are unprofitable, and the resulting research methodology to determine and justify the required amount of expenses of the enterprise, engaged in suburban river passenger transport.

During the pre-diploma practice the object of study by JSC "Amur Shipping Company" sphere of activity is freight and passenger transportation.

The subject of research is the passenger on subsidized routes. Suburban transportation provide regular communication of the population of suburban areas to the city and urban suburbs. Suburban land considered treatment commuter vehicles numbering corresponding to a distance, usually not exceeding 150 km. Suburban passenger commuter form [1]. The problem of tariffs on suburban routes of the company plays an important role in the transport of passengers in the Khabarovsk Territory.

The introduction of this method will lead to the improvement of operation of JSC "Amur Shipping Company", as well as to fully satisfy the population demand for passenger river without causing social tension.
