To realize the goals set inthis thesis the author: provided the historical retrospect of the formation and development of the right to reparation; researched the way this right is enshrined in international universal and regional human rights treaties and its place in the internationalsystem for the protection of human rights; identified forms and subjects of reparation;examined opinion of the UN human rights treaty bodies and the Special Proceduresof the UN Human Rights Council; studied in detail the International Court of Justice`s decision in the case of Ahmadou Sadio Diallo; provided the detailed analysis ofthe decisions of specific cases in the practice of international judicial and quasijudicial human rights bodies within the three regional human rights systems (European, Inter-American and African).29.
