The laboratory I have chosen for my future research.

As for me, I work in the lab of NII RAN. This laboratory is rather perspective because it deals with the problems of environmental pollution. This problem is very actual, especially nowadays. During the Vietnam War USA forces used a special mixture of substances in order to make the leaves of the trees fall down. This special mixture contained dioxin. The fact is that dioxin is a dangerous substance and it is still in the soil. It influences on the heath of the people in a bad way. So the aim of my laboratory is to study this influence on the people and environment. It is also very important to indicate the dioxin in the soil. So, my research deals with the examination of soil. I analyze the probe of soil with the chromatographic mass spectrometry method. My aim is to indicate the presence of the dioxin in the soil. I can say that my research is successful.

My lab is very modern and well-equipped. I also like the surrounding of my lab. My scientific leader is very active and creative person. He always helps me if I face some difficulties. Except my scientific leader, 20 people work there. I am satisfied with my lab, so I am going to continue my work in it next year. Moreover, it is very possible that I will do my diploma there.
