The specified limit values forpressures, temperatures, electrical data, torques etc. mustbe observed.Detailed information on the pneumatic components of thevalve terminal can be found in the pneumatics manualP.BE-CPV-....WarningS Switch off the power supply before connecting ordisconnecting plugs (otherwise this could lead tofunctional damage).S Use only power units which guarantee reliable isolation of the operating voltages as per IEC 742/EN 60742/VDE 0551 with at least 4 kV isolation resistance (Protected Extra Low Voltage PELV).
Switchpower packs are permitted, providing they guaranteereliable isolation in accordance with EN 60950/VDE 0805.S Connect an earth conductor of sufficient cross-sectional area to the terminal marked with the earthsymbol.S Only operate a valve terminal which is completelyfitted and electrically wired.If to be used as an explosion-protected operatingdevice, make sure that:S electrical contacts are not disconnected undertensionS the completely fitted valve terminal with all plugs,adapters and protective caps complies at least withprotection class IP 64.Festo CPV..-GE-MP-...

Preferably allcontrol signals positive-switching (1-switching), or all control signals negative-switching (0-switching). 0112b English11Conditions of use for “Electronic documentation”I. Protection rights and scopeof useThe file of your choice is subjectto safeguarding provisions. Festoor third parties have protectionrights for this electronic documentation. In as far as theserights extend to third parties,Festo has appropriate rights ofuse. Festo permits the user theuse under the following conditions:1.
Scope of usea) The user of the electronic documentation is allowed to use thisdocumentation for his own, exclusively company-internal purposes on any number of machineswithin his business premises(location). This right of use includes exclusively the right tosave the electronic documentation on the central processors(machines) used at the location.b) The electronic documentationmay be printed out on a printer atthe location of the user as oftenas desired, providing this printoutis printed with or kept in a safeplace together with these conditions of use and other user instructions.c) With the exception of the FestoLogo, the user has the right to usepictures and texts from the electronic documentation for creatinghis own machine and systemdocumentation.
The use of theFesto logo requires written consent from Festo. The user himselfis responsible for ensuring thatthe pictures and texts used matchthe machine/system or the relevant product.d) Further uses are permittedwithin the following framework:Copying exclusively for use withinthe framework of machine andsystem documentation from electronic documents of all documented supplier components.Demonstrating to third parties exclusively under guarantee that nodata material is stored wholly orpartly in other networks or otherdata storage devices or can be reproduced there.Passing on printouts to thirdparties not covered by the regulation in item 3, as well as anyprocessing or other use, is notpermitted.0109a2. The hardware status and, where applicable, the software status of theproduct can be found on the typeplate of the product. In the caseof data storage devices which donot accompany a product, i.e.which are not supplied togetherwith that product, Festo does notguarantee that the electronicdocumentation corresponds toevery hardware and softwarestatus of the product. In this case,the printed documentation fromFesto accompanying the productis alone decisive for ensuring thatthe hardware and software statusof the product matches that ofthe electronic documentation.2.
