Any alteration or translation in any language of the OS SIS ICD as awhole or parts of it is prohibited unless the Publishing Authority provides a specific written prior permission.The OS SIS ICD may only be partly or wholly reproduced and/or transmitted to a third party for non profitpurposes, in accordance with the herein described permitted use and under following conditions:-the present “Terms of Use and Disclaimers” are accepted, reproduced and transmitted entirely andunmodified together with the reproduced and/or transmitted information;-the copyright notice “©, 2006, European Space Agency / Galileo Joint Undertaking” is not removedfrom any page.3.2.IPR licence for research and development and standardization purposesThe use of the information contained in the OS SIS ICD, including the spreading codes which are subject to IPRis hereby allowed exclusively for research and development or standardisation purposes in the frame of thepermitted scope of use described in Art.
1.3.3.IPR licence for commercial useAny use of the OS SIS ICD or of the information contained in the OS SIS ICD which does not fall under theherein authorised use and scope is prohibited, unless a specific authorisation is obtained by the PublishingAuthority and/or the entitled party to the associated IPR. It is the intention of the PublishingAuthority and/or the holder of the associated IPR to provide commercial licences in due time for allowing theuse of the signals broadcasted by the first Galileo satellite in operation.3.4.MiscellaneousThe publication or provision of the OS SIS ICD or the information contained herein shall not be construed asgranting any implied IPR licence.No failure or delay in exercising any right in relation to the OS SIS ICD or the information contained hereinshall operate as a waiver thereof, nor shall any single or partial exercise preclude any other or further exercise ofsuch rights.The disclaimers contained in this document are applying to the extent permitted by applicable law.4.UpdatesThe OS SIS ICD is a draft and not definitive version.
