Registration
In this web portal registration feature will be implemented. New user will be able to register on the web portal to have possibility comment news and posts. On this page users can fill in their contacts, name, family name, email and password. Registration will allow user to leave comment to posts and further to become an editor if administration doesn’t mind.

Web portal interface
When designing web portal, it should be divided into 2 parts: front-end and back-end. Front-end is displayed to every user and is showing all projects and partners of business incubator. In other words, front-end is a client part, user interface. Back-end, on the other hand, is responsible for system configuration, access permissions, DNS-servers and so on.
Next, leaning on web portal functionality described in section 2.1, site and pages structure was designed.

Web portal structure
Site structure has to be simple and understandable by an average user. Too complex and encumbered architecture may lead to that user just lost and couldn’t find a required page in short enough time that would negatively effect on further attendance of web portal of that user. Site structure developed for web portal is shown on drawing 2.1.

Web portal pages structure
All web portal pages will have the same structure. Every single page has header, footer and content area. Content area will be containing main information of the page.
Pages’ headers are the same, because the pages have to be in one style. Header will contain logo of company, menu and search form.
Header template is presented on drawing 2.2.

Footer is designed to execute some various functions. Firstly, it’s laconic ending of every page. Secondly, footer contains various secondary information which is necessary on every page, but not in the header. Thirdly, this element will be doubling important information from the header, so user won’t need to scroll all the way up to get the needed information.
In the footer of this web portal so-called widgets will be placed – functional blocks displaying some kind of information. Widgets are easy to configure and may be changed in accordance to requirements to web portal. In this web portal will be displayed widgets such as «Archives» (allows to look through news of the established period of time), «Recent posts» (this widget displays recent articles added on site), «Social networks» (in this block there are links on pages of various social networks groups representing this company) and «Manual menu» (which will duplicate the main menu in the header). Footer template is presented on drawing 2.3.

Main page is a face of the web portal; it’s what user sees. It has to awake user’s interest and grab his attention. On the main page of the web portal besides header and footer, interactive slider will be shown which rapidly captures user’s attention. Also content area and fresh news column will be presented here. Pages «Partners» and «Projects» are basically have the same structure. These pages contain automatically collecting content area. It means that after adding new post to business incubator portfolio in WordPress administration panel this project or partner will be automatically displayed on matched page. It will save the time of manually adding information on these pages. Page content will be displayed in 3 columns. Template of these pages is presented on drawing 2.5.

Besides basic pages, web portal will be doing the blog function in which authors will be able to write their own articles in subject area. Further client is planning to create wide article network sorted by categories. Following widgets were added to these pages functionality: «Categories», «Recent posts», «Recent comments», «Tag cloud» and «Calendar».
These widgets will be displayed in sidebar located to the right of content area. Comment area will be located below content area. Blog page template is presented on drawing 2.6.

Additional pages will do informational function. Their content will contain various information about business incubator, its services, projects and so on.

Web portal pages style
Style of pages, as well as content, plays a big role in every web portal. Good style helps to increase attendance and conversion. Style has to pleasant to eyes and awakes user’s desire to come back on this web portal once again. But, anyway, it mustn’t distract user from the most important – web portal content. It’s essential to keep balance between unforgettable spectacular design and design that doesn’t distract user from interaction with web portal.
It was chosen to build web portal in minimalistic style which has nice recommendations in the market. Minimalism characterizes with flat forms, not overwhelmed with various effects such as shadows, annoying animations and so on. It’s been chosen pastel colors as major colors on this web portal. Color box is presented on drawing 2.7.

Also for this web portal unique logo was designed in minimalistic traditions. This logo is presented on drawing 2.8.

Animations in this web portal are minimized. Only main menu and main page slider are animated.
All important buttons are marked out with light blue color from the color box which automatically grabs user’s attention on the white background. Content text is displayed with black font on the white background which leads to readability.
In conclusion it’s needed to say that web portal style is very memorable but also not distracting. Informational content is readable, fonts have adequate size. Style is neutral and will be pleasant to most of users. Web portal is convenient in using, doesn’t have unnecessary details, all important elements are easily accessible. Drawing 2.9 shows the main page of web portal.

Thus, web portal style answers the main standards of web portal design.
