So, how do you define personality?

Technically, personality is a set of qualities that makes an individual. Qualities can be behavioral, temperamental, emotional and intellectual. While many of these traits are congenital, most are acquired. And, appearance is just a small contribution towards completing this package.

Character shows on the face. Imagine a lean, thin and a half-dressed man with millions of followers. He walks with a stick, bare-feet and the world walks with him. He causes a revolution, changes the fate of a nation, takes the world by storm - Yes, I am talking of a super human being Mahatma Gandhi!

How would you rate his appearance? Nothing more than 3-4 on a scale of 10? All he had was an immense personality and a profound depth of character. This is what needs to be valued.

If you are good, personality comes naturally. No matter what color, race or religion you belong to, if you are a good human being, you will never be alone. All you need is to believe in what you do, and do it with complete dedication, honesty and love. And, your efforts will be rewarded. If you are good at something, believe in your talent, don't look back.

Appearances are deceptive. It is a common truth; practically everyone has met at least someone whose character and appearance differ radically.
When one sees a tall, broad-shouldered youth, one expects him to be strong-willed and brave. One thinks: 'A model to follow!' How often a good-looking individual turns out to be petty, weak-willed or even cowardly. Then one thinks: 'A mediocrity!'

At the same time everyone knows that a lot of great people were of a poor build: short and fragile. It did not stop them from displaying intelligence and courage.
Plump or fat people create an impression of generous and kind personalities. Strangely enough, not rarely they may be thrifty or even greedy. One usually thinks: 'A scrooge!'

Nature likes to play tricks on us. But don't you think it is a present on the part of nature? Life becomes not a boring routine, but a brilliant kaleidoscope of characters and appearances which often clash.

So, I would like to tell you a few words about my best friend. His name is Alex. We know each other for many years. He is my next door neighbor. I always recognize him among many others. He is a boy of average height with a short dark hair. Alex has a sporty constitution. He is tall. His skin has a pale color. His face is oval. Alex has a straight nose and thin lips. Alex has brown eyes with a hint of green. His face is always kind and well-wishing. He often smiles and he’s always optimistic. Alex is a good man and a true friend.
