The dissertation on competition scientific degree of the candidate of medical sciences in speciality 14.01.03 – surgery. – National Institute of surgery and transplantation named after A.A. Shalimov, Kyiv, 2008.
The dissertation is devoted to studying of changes of a condition lipid peroxidation, conditions of system antioxidant protection, the microcirculation and features reparative processes at patients with purulent wounds of soft tissue and to realization of their correction with the help of modern surgical treatment with the local photochemical activation.
Material of dissertational work became experimental data, got from 174 adult white rats with alloxan diabetes, and also results of clinical supervision after 163 patients with with diabetes mellitus with purulent damages of lower extremities. By complex studying of activity of lipid peroxidation, conditions of system antioxidant protection, cytological structure of a wound, a condition of the microcirculation a number of factors which worsen current reparative processes in a purulent wound is established.
On this basis it is offered pathogenetic the proved treatment as local photochemical antioxidant therapy and its efficiency is shown. It has allowed to lower average terms of treatment for 7,05 days and to reduce number of complications with 16,9 % up to 11,2%.
