Characteristics of the work

The relevance of this work due to the fact that work with people with disabilities is classified as the most complex issues of social work. The problem of social rehabilitation of the disabled, then there is a problem of adaptation to normal life of persons with disabilities in society, acquired recently, in the current situation of social uncertainty, of particular importance. Questions of medical and social rehabilitation and employment of people with disabilities can not be solved without the participation of social workers, with specialists from different professional areas are developing social technologies, socio-medical, social and psychological support. There is still a need for continuous and targeted study of the problems of persons with disabilities, both at national and regional level.

The purpose of final qualifying work is the following - based on the analysis of theoretical and practical experience in the social rehabilitation of the disabled to determine effective methods and technologies of rehabilitation of the disabled in institutions.

As part of the qualifying work the generalization of practice specific institutions working in the field of social rehabilitation. The analysis and recommendations on the implementation of the Centre's activities in the project aimed at the social rehabilitation of persons with disabilities. This project will contribute to improving the work of this organization. The problem of social rehabilitation of disabled persons is a global, complex issue, which tries to solve most of the world, including in Russia. In considering the problems of social rehabilitation of disabled people as an example of social and rehabilitation activities KGBU "Khabarovsk Center for Social Rehabilitation", we proposed the project "Social and consumer and socio-cultural rehabilitation of disabled people with visual impairments", some aspects of which have already begun to take place in Khabarovsk.
