In this diploma project the technical and operational characteristics of the stationBelogorsk II, the technology of operation of the station with trains of various categoriesare considered, the scope of work of the station is determined. The aim of the diplomaproject is to improve the work of the Belogorsk II station, with the further reduction ofRussian Railways expenses for the maintenance of the idle time of train locomotivesfor transit trains and the increase in the capacity of the turnouts.To accomplish the tasks set in the diploma project, the station was reconstructedand daily work schedules for the existing technology and after the reconstruction werebuilt. This made it possible to identify the most loaded station elements.To reduce the idle time of transit wagons on station tracks in the diploma project,an increase in the capacity of the turnbuckles and the economic efficiency of theproposed measures are considered.In the section "Life Safety", the issue of providing workers with personal protectiveequipment and the calculation of the damage to occupational injuries was considered.As a result of the work done, a feasibility study of the design solutions was carriedout, namely, the capital investments in the project, the maintenance costs formaintenance, and the economic efficiency of the project..
