Annotation

Theme of the master's thesis: Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment of the Main Objects of Gas Distribution Systems by the Example of a Gas Distribution Organization.

The urgency of the work is due to the fact that now more attention is paid to improving the level of industrial safety of hazardous production facilities for gas distribution systems for natural gas and LPG. In addition, the requirement of the federal law "On gas supply in the Russian Federation" to "continuously forecast the probability of occurrence of accidents and disasters" with respect to each hazardous production facility of gas supply systems leads to the need to assess the danger of such facilities.

The purpose of the dissertation work is to assess the risks of accidents on gas distribution systems and to propose measures to reduce accidents and maintain risk within the acceptable range.

To achieve this goal, the following tasks were accomplished:

1) identification of the main hazards of gas distribution systems using the risk analysis methodology;

2) development of a methodological apparatus for quantitative assessment of the risk of typical objects of gas distribution systems;

3) quantitative assessment of the risk of typical objects of gas distribution systems.

The objects of the dissertation research are:

1) regulatory and technical documents;

2) databases on accidents and injuries at gas distribution facilities;

3) objects of gas distribution systems (steel and polyethylene gas distribution pipelines, gas reduction points).
