ANNOTATION

One of the main problems of tourism in Russia is the underreporting of its real indicators - this concerns the statistics of entry to our region and the indicators of budgetary revenues from tourism. Since the results of tourist activities are often brought into the activities of related industries: transport, catering, hotel industry, etc., tourism is often underestimated and given him little attention, always shifting to the last place. These reasons are the actuality of this work.

Thus, with the right approach to assessing of the tourism impact on the economy, we are able to see its actual data, which will contribute to a more progressive growth of this industry and as a result, there will be a significant increase in tourist flows to our region, not only residents from other regions of Russia, but also foreign tourists. The result of these changes will be an increase of cash flow, an improvement of the related industries and a significant increase in jobs for the local population.

The aim of the work is to identify approaches for assessing of the tourism impact on the economy of the region.

Tasks:

• To identify the social and economic nature of tourism;

• To research the foreign experience of assessing the tourism contribution to the region economy;

• To conduct research for identifying the flows of tourists and organizations that do not use the services of travel agencies, to analyze them;

• To carry out a calculation using this information and statistics on entry to the Khabarovsk Territory, as well as transport statistics for identifying real indicators of the tourism impact on the economy of the region.

The object of this work is tourism of the Khabarovsk Territory.

The subject of this work is the approaches to the evaluation of tourism on economy of the Khabarovsk Territory.
