Annotation

Relevance of the studied subject is that more and more attention is everywhere paid to protection of educational institutions and safety of educational institutions recently.

One of important problems is prevention of the accidents connected with the fires in educational institutions. The fires in educational institutions are very dangerous by the consequences. Therefore, it is necessary to pay special attention to observance of fire safety regulations in higher educational institutions.

Fire-prevention protection aims at research of the most effective, economically expedient and technically reasonable ways and warning facilities of the fires and their elimination with the minimum damage at the most rational use of forces and technical means of suppression.

According to Emercom of Russia for the last five years the number of fires in the territory of Russia has considerably decreased. But "the inaccurate treatment of fire" all the same too often leads a factor to the fires. In educational institutions most often ignitions happen during any works or because of violation of the internal schedule of educational institution (smoking on territories, electric devices in rooms of the hostel, etc.). In the territory of DVGUPS for the last five years the fire was only in 2012 to the hostel No. 4. There was he because of short circuit in constantly working electric device.
