Therefore, for the efficient processing o f con­tainer arriving in a timely manner is necessary to modernize and a variety o f activitiesaimed at improving the operation o f container terminals.As these events can be: the construction o f new container yards, replacement ofobsolete industrial machines more powerful and modem, changes in container tech­nology work items.The thesis project is considered freight yard Khabarovsk station II, having a con­tainer unit for processing 20- and 40-foot containers.

In order to increase its pro­cessing capacity proposed to increase the processing capacity o f the container termi­nal Art. 2 Khabarovsk, Far Eastern Branch o f PJSC "TransContainer", when com­bined canned container yard with a dead-end path №9 existing container area №8way deadlock.For the timely implementation o f the planned volume o f loading - unloading inthe final qualifying work it was proposed to modernize the dead-end road №8 and putinto operation a new gantry crane for processing o f large containers, load-carryingcapacity o f 32 tons;In the course o f the proposed modernization o f the processing capacity o f the con­tainer yard on this dead-end path has increased..
