Summary

Master’s Degree Diploma theme: «Innovation activities of hotel companies: problems and solutions (hotel «Europe», Khabarovsk, was taken as an example)» consists of 121 pages, includes 6 supplement and 81 sources of information.

Key words: INNOVAITION, INNOVATIVE ACTIVITY OF THE HOTEL, PROBLEM OF INNOVATIVE ACTIVITY, ECOLOGIC HOTEL;

The purpose of the diploma work – to determine the impact of innovations in increasing the hotels competitiveness.

To achieve this goal, the following objectives were identified:

• to reveal the theoretical aspects of innovations;

• to cover the main trends and problems of innovative activity of the hotel enterprise;

• to identify problems of the innovation use in the hospitality industry of Khabarovsk;

• to characterize the state of innovations in the hotel "Europe";

• to develop a program of innovative events for the hotel "Europe".

The object of the research is the innovative activity of the hotel. The subject of the research is the implementation of innovative measures in the hotel enterprises.

The hypothesis of the research: introduction of the program of innovative actions promotes increase in competitiveness of hotels.

The relevance: one of the key aspects of the of hotel companies activities is to increase efficiency and remain competitive, that requires the use of innovative approaches.

Technologies develop in the industries of hospitality prompt rates therefore competitiveness of hotel demands introduction of innovations not only in a technological part, but also in consciousness of hoteliers and personnel.

The main objectives of hoteliers – to attract as much as possible clients and to make them constant guests. The solution of these tasks is impossible without introduction of innovative technologies in work of the hotel enterprise.

The methods of the research: description, observation, comparative analysis, statistical information processing, poll (questioning and personal interview).

The received results of a research will promote increase in competitiveness of Europe Hotel. There is act of implementation.
