SUMMARY

Diploma theme: «Innovation activities of hotel companies: problems and solutions (hotel «Europe», Khabarovsk, was taken as an example)» consists of 121 pages, includes 17 tables, 25 figures (including applications) and 81 sources of information.

The relevance: one of the key aspects of the of hotel companies activities is to increase efficiency and remain competitive, that requires the use of innovative approaches.

The hypothesis of the research: introduction of the program of innovative actions promotes increase in competitiveness of hotels.

The purpose of the diploma work – to determine the impact of innovations in increasing the hotels competitiveness.

To achieve this goal, the following objectives were identified:

• to reveal the theoretical aspects of innovations;

• to cover the main trends and problems of innovative activity of the hotel enterprise;

• to identify problems of the innovation use in the hospitality industry of Khabarovsk;

• to characterize the state of innovations in the hotel "Europe";

• to develop a program of innovative events for the hotel "Europe".

The object of the research is the innovative activity of the hotel. The subject of the research is the implementation of innovative measures in the hotel enterprises.

Implementation of research results. Main positions of thesis were presented at the 73rd Student scientific conference (FESTU). Proposed recommendations for innovative activities got the practical implementation in the hotel "Europe". There is an act of implementation.
