Annotation

The questions of the organization and provide social support for different categories of people is determined by the value and effectiveness of the financial support.

Priorities for the development of social protection related to socio-economic development of the region are covered. Those areas are the social service of elderly people, the disabled, children in difficult life situations and large families. Indicators by means of which it is possible to evaluate influence of social support of the population on socio-economic development of the region are offered. One may assume a share of the population with money income lower than the regional subsistence level relative to the total population of the region one of the indicators. The assessment of the population material welfare growth and efficiency of measures of the social support aimed at providing growth of the citizens' income is considered. The conclusion that efficiency of social support will be expressed in improving the quality of life of certain categories of the population of the municipality through the provision of social support on time and in full, improvement of the quality and expansion of the social services' range is drawn.
