Annotation of the graduation paper

“Secure cloud computing using homomorphic encryption”

The purpose of this graduation paper is the research of homomorphic encryption algorithms, as well as the development of a client-server application modelling the interaction between the client and the cloud-computing provider using the homomorphic encryption algorithm.

The first part of this paper about basic principles of cloud computing. This part deals with the main features of cloud computing (architecture, distribution model, scope), and considers the information security aspect (information security threats in the cloud infrastructure, modern ways of ensuring information security).

In the second part of this graduation paper, sets of questions are raised on the concept of homomorphic encryption. As a result of the study, a suitable homomorphic encryption algorithm was chosen.

In the third part of this paper, attention is drawn to results of research on the performance and cryptographic strength of this algorithm. The fourth and fifth part are the developer's and user's guides.

In the conclusion part, it is specially noted the process of calculating the costs of software development (by calculating the conditional number of operators) and this part contains information about research of the influence of lighting on the employee when performing work at the workplace and information about calculating the necessary level of lighting for a given room.

The graduation paper consists of an introduction, seven main chapters, conclusion and bibliography. The total number of references is eighteen.
