ABSTRACT

The economy of any country can not function without the development of rail transport. Currently, rail transport is not just a carrier of goods, and transport and logistics area which offers a range of services for loading, unloading, storing and distributing any transportation by all modes of transport.

The theme of this thesis: "Diagnosis of the economic potential of the Far Eastern Directorate for Terminal and Warehouse Complex". The relevance of the chosen topic of the thesis is due in the first place, the economic situation in rail transport, each structural unit, including Far Eastern Directorate for Management of Terminal and Warehouse Complex, needs effective measures to optimize its operations, reduce costs and attract customers.

The aim of the implementation of this thesis is to conduct a diagnosis of the economic potential, a reflection of quantitative and qualitative indicators, the costs associated with the conduct of economic activity, the rate of growth of labor productivity and payroll. And just on the basis of the results obtained implementing the development of recommendations to increase cargo handling volumes and revenues.

This thesis is divided into three sections, the first of which contains the theoretical features of diagnostics of the economic potential of the company and the most popular methods used in railway transport for its implementation.

The second section of this thesis describes the activities of the Far Eastern Directorate for Management of Terminal and Warehouse Complex, the main features of its activities.

In the third section, developed measures to increase the volume of cargo handling and management of income on the basis of a diagnostic study of the current state of the industry and production capabilities.
