Author modified the model of A. Downs taking into account the internalparameters of the post-Soviet countries, and with the help of a special case of this model inthe thesis revealed patterns of election results in Armenia. In addition, as a confirmation ofthe proposed approach, migration flows from Armenia was analyzed, which proves thepracticality and relevance of the developed concept. The model identified the main patterns30of migration from the country. The constructed models clearly show that social andpsychological factors have a significant impact on migration.3. In the dissertation the author proposes a new scheme of voters who answers the basicquestions of the classical theory of electoral behavior.
Unlike other studies, where thepolitical business cycles are considered from the point of view of politicians (policy makers),in our conception the subject of study are the voters with their expectations, where the choiceof a political program for the voter is not considered to be a purpose, but only a mean.31.
