The process of management from the point of view of an open system19We cannot fully evaluate the true influence of these views on theory and practice of managementbecause the approach is new and fresh. Although we can now already say that this influence is quitesignificant, the theory of system itself cannot say which of the elements of an organization are mostimportant. It can just say that organization consists of multiple interconnected subsystems and is anopen system, which interacts with external environment. This theory cannot specify the main valuesthat influence the managemental function, cannot clearly say what in the external environmentinfluences on management and how environment influences the result of organization’s activity.20.
